Playgroup
Our youngest live in a world of wonder, play and imagination. At playgroup the children will enjoy free play, with natural open ended materials. They will experience morning circle during which we sing songs and learn versus, tell stories and enjoy learning actions and playing circle games.

Playgroup 2025
Playgroup runs twice weekly during the school term:
Tues & Fri
9.00am – 12>00pm
For children 0–6 years and their whānau.
Connect with other young children and with fellow parents, and become part of a supportive community!

Homeschool groups
We have a lovely homeschool group for younger ones on Wednesdays, and one for older children on Friday afternoons! Contact us to find out more.
How it started
As most Steiner School journeys unfold, ours too began with a coming together of families seeking a Steiner minded community. Passionate about providing Steiner education opportunities for local families, in 2022 we launched Whangārei Steiner, starting with our playgroup.
