Workshop: Caring for Childhood Fever

We are hosting Michelle Vette from the Anthroposophical Society of NZ to give this interesting and practical workshop for our community:

Topic: Caring for Childhood Fever

Michelle would like to offer the opportunity for parents to add to their kete of tools in caring for children at home, naturally and safely. We will focus on fever, as it is a feature of childhood and part of developing lifelong wellness, and a few practical ways to care for fever.

She would also like to offer two tools for self-care for parents, to help maintain our fortitude while raising our children. Much needed for many of us!

- Please bring a footbath or similar, two towels, $5 for the substances and your questions.

- This is a workshop for parents and caregivers. If you need to, you are welcome to bring your children — we aim to have a couple of parents who are able to mind children while they play outside.

Michelle Vette (RN ANS MNS) co-coordinates the Foundation Course in Anthroposophic Nursing at Taruna College alongside her work as a nurse at a busy general practice. Michelle is the General Secretary for the Anthroposophic Society in New Zealand. She has a strong focus in working with families, children and education.
